Easter holidays

We would like to wish you and your family a lovely and safe holiday.

Your child will receive some homework to complete over the holidays and if you have some spare time there are some stories and games you could listen to and play together.

Thank you for your continued support,

Reception teachers.

This week we would like you to practise your Tricky Words and sentences. We are trying really hard in our phonics lessons with this and we would love you to get even better! Please make sure you share this with us by writing on the yellow speech bubbles we have sent home.

Dates to remember this week.

Parents Afternoon
1:15 to 3:00

We have chosen to look at a book about Space.
The Darkest Dark by Chris Hadfield

Dress up as your favourite story character.

We will be talking about what job we want when we grow up and why it is so important to try our best.
We will also think about our interests and what we need to be good at to do certain jobs.

What is an Optician?
What do they have to be good at?
How do you think you get a job?

Parents Afternoon

On Wednesday 1st or Thursday 2nd March you are invited into your child’s class from 1.15pm onwards. This is an opportunity for you to talk to the class teacher and see the progress your child has made, look at their learning journeys and to spend time playing with them in their classroom environment. If you also have any questions then the class teacher will be happy to help.

We look forward to seeing you all there.

Thank you

Reception teachers.
